Long moved back to OC briefly after college but continued to write and perform. In 2004, he was featured in OC Weekly as part of a list of upcoming “local greats”. He then moved back to LA, where he currently lives, to release his self-titled EP in 2007. This caught the ear of producer Glenn Suravech “Mosaic”, an audio engineer at Jackson Browne’s Groove Masters Studio who also studied under such engineers as Andrew Scheps (Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2) and Ted Greenberg (Cypress Hill, The Roots, Ben Harper).

In 2009, Glenn helped produce Long’s debut full-length album entitled “Shoebox Letters”. The album is a collection of songs about memories, love, longing, and most importantly, hope. His music is often described as acoustic rock with folk influences. Long plans to make a small California tour this summer with his newly formed band. He looks forward to promoting his music while doing two of his favorite activities: traveling and performing.
